Bayern Munich resumes streamroller

FT Borussia Monchengladbach0 - 2 Bayern Munich

The Bavarian giant were in their best elements as the bundesliga
resumed after it 6 weeks winter break. It was as if there was no break
for the European Champions as they were in their imperious best with
the ball. Although it must be said they had several scares without the
ball from the home side.
Pep Guardolia's side who were without Franck Ribery, Mario Mandzukic,
Javi Martinez or Bastian Schweinsteiger in their squad started with a
lineup of Neuer; Rafinha, Boateng, Dante, Alaba; Lahm; Muller, Kroos,
Thiago, Shaqiri; Gotze. With Gotze as a false nine. And Phillip lahm
playing in central midfield.
While Gladbach had a starting starting line-up of Ter Stegen; Korb,
Stranzl, Alvaro Dominguez, Wendt; Herrmann, Kramer, Xhaka, Arango;
Kruse, Raffael.
Goals from Mario Gotze in the 7th minutes and a penalty from Thomas
Muller in 53rd minute were all Bayern needed to continue their
unbeaten run in the German league which dates back to October 2012.
