Arsene Wenger held a press conference Monday morning ahead of Arsenal's visit to Anfield on Wednesday. and the Frenchman had some positive news on the injury front when he confirmed that long term injury absentee, Tomas Rosicky has returned to full time training. the 35 year old Czech international has been out since last season when he injured his knee while playing for Czech Republic in a Euro 2016 qualifier in June."Rosicky is back in full training" he confirmed.
On the hamstring injury that has kept out Alexis Sanchez for the last seven weeks, the Liverpool game would come too soon for the Chilean, but he is expected back in the squad for the match against Stoke at the Britiania at the weekend. " The Liverpool game will come too soon for Sanchez" the Frenchman told the assembled media." he finished by saying that "he should be okay for Stoke, he's developing very well."
"We are try to be cautious, but with a muscular injury you never know. He's very close. If you look at him training, he's very. very close."
Arsenal have managed well without their injured talisman as they have won all matches bar one match since he has been out.
With the fixtures coming thick and fast in the coming weeks, it seems the Arsenal manager would be able to call on some of his injured players that have been out for a long time this season.
