Ahead of Chelsea's match with Manchester City on Saturday at Stamford
Bridge, Antonio Conte spoke to the media this Friday.
He gave an update of his squad ahead of what is the biggest match of
the weekend in the English Premier League. And inevitably, he spoke of
the importance of David Luiz who would miss the game as he serves the
second of his three match ban after the red card he picked up against
Arsenal.
"David Luiz is an important player and a big loss, but Andreas
Christensen is playing well and with good maturity,"
"David Luiz is not a player who gets many red cards and he normally
has discipline."
Andreas Christensen played in the middle of Chelsea's three man back
line against Stoke last weekend. Where he was impressive in the 4-0
win.
Antonio Conte would be pinning his hope on him to reproduce another
assured performance against the best attacking team in the league.
