Former Man United striker heading back to the Premier League

West Ham United are close to bring back former Manchester United
striker Javier Hernandez to the Premier League. The Londoners have
reached an agreement with German club Bayern Leverkusen in the region
of £16m.
He is due to fly in to London for his medicals.

The 29 year old Mexican striker known more for his nickname Chicharito
was a huge weapon in Alex Ferguson's armoury when he arrived from
Mexico in 2010. He ended up scoring 59 goals in 156 appearances for
United in his five years at the club with most of them coming as a
substitute. He was sold by Louis van Gaal in 2015 to Bayer Leverkusen
where he scored 39 times in 76 matches in all competitions.

A goal poacher known for his ability to pounce on loose balls within
the six yard box, he is currently the record holder of the highest
goals scored for the Mexican national team with 47 goals.

He is expected to add more bite to a West Ham forward line that
struggled for goals last season.

The special one or has he termed his second coming, the happy one, is not a person who likes to shy away from bearing his thoughts irrespective of the situation. His histrionics and gesticulation on the touchline are as much as the way he does his talking when conveying his thoughts most especially when things do not go his way. So it was no surprise when he accused Sam Allardyce’s West Ham of playing 19^th century football after Chelsea’s goalless draw on Wednesday at Stamford Bridge.

These were his words:

"This is not the best league in the world, this is football from the 19th Century,

The only [other] thing I could bring was a Black and Decker [tool] to destroy the wall. It’s very difficult to play a football match where only one team wants to play. It's very difficult, a football match is about two teams playing and this match was only one team playing and another team not playing.”

Looking at this statement, it strange that Mourinho could toll this line after having consistently deplored incredibly negative tactics away from home. A match as recent as the one Chelsea played against Arsenal at the Emirates Stadium on December, 26^th, 2013. Mourinho never had the intention of playing expansive football on that day. Eventually ending the match with three defensive midfielders. After the match, these were his words while mocking the home side.

“I Think boring is a team that plays at home and cannot score a goal. That’s boring.”

So the question is why complain, when another person uses the tactics you are good at to outwit Chelsea? The same tactics he used earlier in the season at Old Trafford to secure a goalless draw.

Yet the West Ham manager gave a fitting reply to Mourinho’s vain assertion thus:

"He can't take it, can he? He can't take it because we've outwitted him - he just can't cope," He can tell me all he wants, I don't care.

I love to see Chelsea players moaning at the referee, trying to intimidate him, Jose jumping up and down saying we play rubbish football.

It's brilliant when you get a result against him. Hard luck, Jose."
